Lakes District Maintenance is a highway road and bridge maintenance company that has proudly served British Columbia since 1988.
Centrally located in Burns Lake, Lakes District Maintenance is responsible for keeping roads and bridges safe for the traveling public in the Lakes and Stikine service areas. Maintaining more than 3,500 km of the province’s road network requires more than 50 plow trucks and 100 British Columbians working year-round.
In 2016, Lakes District Maintenance joined Volker Stevin, expanding and solidifying both companies’ commitment to providing unparalleled, safe experiences for all drivers.
Lakes District Maintenance is committed to safely serving our communities by connecting all of the areas they serve while providing peace of mind to the traveling public by ensuring the safe, efficient movement of people, goods, and services.
